Koh
Samui is an island of natural beauty and charm, a place
where you can have a wonderful holiday. Blue-sky days and a
nice ocean breeze are the norm. The beach has white sand and
is fringed with coconut palms. Many resorts and hotels are
located just a couple of meters from the beach.
Today tourists from the whole world go to this paradise.
It's located in the Gulf of Siam and surrounded by over
sixty other Islands, including Koh Phangan and Koh Tao. It
is the third largest Thai island after Phuket and Koh Chang.
Koh Samui is about 700 km away from Bangkok. You can catch a
plane from the Bangkok International Airport, Don Muang.
Bangkok Air flies direct to Samui Airport. You can also take
a bus or train to get there.
On Koh Samui you will find some of the best diving sites in
the South East Asia region. There are many scuba diving
schools located around Samui, offering a wide range of dive
facilities. The water is rich in colourful corals and has an
impressive fish life.
